SUNDAY, JULY 7, 2002 APPROACHES... and so does the 2002 McEntee Family Reunion. We hope you’ve saved the date on your calendar, and that you’re keeping in touch with each other to make sure everyone knows the plans. Thank you to everyone who has generously contributed to the McEntee Reunion Fund. So far we have received $5,070.00 from 45 donors. If you haven't yet contributed, and are able to contribute any amount, please do. We’re well on our way but still fall short of covering all catering & book costs. Backgammon Tournament: As you know, Rick Winner is again coordinating the Backgammon tourney. Look for the sign-up sheet at the reunion to participate in this competitive event. Who will take home the trophy in 2002? Plenty of Fun, & Food, too: Don't forget that this is not your ordinary backyard cookout! All ages and temperaments will find something to do, whether shading oneself under the pines, swimming in the pool, fishing or paddle boating at the lake, "mini" miniature golf, volleyball, softball (bring your own gloves), basketball, horseshoes (rubber provided by Willow Grove, bring your own metal), hayrides, playground, and more. Did we mention the food? Barbecued chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, corn, salads and desserts. Tea/lemonade provided. Please use discretion regarding any other beverages. RSVP Let us know, to the best of your knowledge, the number of people in the various age groups who will be attending. Print Form -- Deadline June 30th The Book -- Be sure to send current names addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, education & occupation info, birth and death info, hobbies & interests. Include your spouse & children. Print Form Business Cards -- Send us your business card to be included in the book. Then remember to refer to it throughout the year. We have relatives in many industries and we should patronize each others businesses. Card Page Shirts Caroline Harvey Liebel is coordinating the shirts this year. She has added golf shirts to the line up. The final shirt design and color haven't been determined yet. But they will be great. Print Form or email order to Joanne Miller Raffle Table: No silent auction in this family – raffles rule! The debut of this fun table in 2000 seemed to be enjoyed by all, and helped cover some of the reunion costs to boot. So there will once again be a raffle table. If your ‘family unit’ would like to put together a basket or other desirable item and donate it to the cause, just bring your offering to the table the day of the reunion. |
