The 2002 McEntee Family Reunion is happening Sunday, July 7
12:00 Noon to 6:00.

General stuff to know:

• The picnic lunch will be served, in various courses, from around Noon to 4:00 P.M.  The party goes until 6:00.  Beverages that will be provided are coffee, lemonade, and iced tea only.  If you prefer to drink something else, please bring it with you.  Ice cream & Popsicles are included in the menu.

• Do not bring glass containers, or pets.  Both are prohibited at Willow Grove Picnics.

• Directions and a map are enclosed.  The address and phone number of Willow Grove Picnics are included on the direction sheet.

This is an action-packed day that lets the kids of all ages play together and get acquainted while having a good time.

There is plenty of shade at the picnic tables under the pines, and that's a really nice spot for visiting with each other.

Here's a challenge:  Look through the [unofficial] family reunion photo album at the sign-in table.  See how many people you can recognize from those early reunions of 1982, '84, etc.  The 'little kids' are only well into high school and college these days -- sure they look just the same as they did back then!

Final notes:  Many people have come through to fund this reunion. In addition to the contributions that have been sent, a group of cousins has been busy assembling a raffle.  It will include a basket of cheer, an Irish afghan, Irish beer, and quite a bit more.  Look for tickets at the picnic.  See Teresa Cherrington or Eileen Bradford if you’d like to volunteer for a 30 minute turn at the raffle table – they’d appreciate the help there.

Also at the reunion, the 2002 McEntee Family Registry, as well as shirts for anyone who ordered them, will be distributed.  If you're not attending, your books will be mailed to you in August.

Our website, www.mcentee.org has been redesigned.  Thank you to Mary Bradford-Pierce for her talents and efforts toward updating our site.  Mary really wants to receive your family portraits or individual pictures: if possible, recent as well as not-so-recent pictures of your family members. 

Check out her work, supply her with photos.  You can reach Mary via email at mpierce@dynalivery.com.  She and her family will be traveling from Missouri to attend this year’s reunion, so we’ll get to talk in person too.
